Hi,

Does anyone have a quick and easy toffee sauce or even caramel sauce?
TIA

or just get condensed milk, place it in a pot of water. make sure the can is fully immersed. and bring to a boil. keep it for 2 hours making sure the can is always fully immersed (keep adding water). best to do this a day before you need the caramel/toffee. and let it cool completely to avoid splashing and burning.

This is a bit late but I have a recipe that i came up with myself. Throw into a big frying pan about a cup of white sugar and spread it evenly. Turn the heat on - don't stir - wait for it all to melt, you may have to move the frying pan over the heat so the heat gets to sections it's not getting to. As soon as it's all melted, (it will be brown) and before it burns, pour in some cream, maybe 200 mls (I've never used measurements with this) and stir until the toffee is all disolved. The cream will thicken and turn into a lovely caramel. Drooooool. I'm now drooling.
