I'm looking for a great restaurant for our anniversary dinner. We'd like to go somewhere with great food and wine but not too stuffy. What are your favourite spots?

Hakasan in Emirates towers has awesome drinks and awesome dim sum. Its a really cool environment as well. Mango Tree is great Thai food in Souq al Bahar with an awesome view of the Burj and fountain shows The Pavilion is a really neat, kinda earthy space in downtown Dubai. Its more casual

Hi, The Meat Co in Madinat Jumeirah is great. However, we had dinner two months ago in Toro Toro. It is fantastic. Outstanding food! Highly recommended. Happy Aniv!!

Hi I recently was disappointed with poor service at Table 9. Gaucho I love but pretty pricey. Pai Thai I agree is a great Thai restaurant. For quirky we like Aprons and Hammers on the Dhow at Mina Seyahi or Bateaux Dubai. And we love Traiteur at Park Hyatt.

I just loved the menu of Trader Vic's at Madinat Jumeirah. It's a great spot if you'd like to plan something cosy. Also try Tiki Puka Puka:) Happy Anniversary!

Yes, we went there last year for our anniversary! Anywhere else? We'd like to try somewhere new...

Table 9 by Darren at the Hilton Creek. By far the best food in Dubai.
