Hi everyone.

I'm flying to London in a week and a half and won't have my newborn's residence visa back in time (I have just received his new passport).

I've seen mention of an "Exit pass / Departure permit" on the various forums as a possible answer to this problem but can't find any info on the immigration website about where to get it or what exactly is needed...

Thanks for your help in advance.

I think this is it ....... http://dnrd.ae/en/Rules_Reg/Pages/RuleDetails.aspx?RuleId=201 The offices are next to Bur Dubai police station that's right on top of Trade Centre roundabout. I'll be doing the same myself week after next once we've received our emergency travel doc for my 8 week old chap!
