Hi All

My husbands to be employer (RasGas) will provide us with a compound villa to stay in as part of the conditions of employment. He saw a place when he was over there (think it was Al Bab Rayan???) which was not that nice. The HR dept has said that there are spots at Beverley Hills Al Rayan and have reserved them for us to view.

Does anyone know of these villas and can give us an idea of what they are like. We just want something with good natural light, bit of a yard for entertaining and the kids to run around, a nice community feel and preferably a little bit of greenery/foliage around!

Shukran.

It is one of the more established compounds with great facilities and a community feel. The villas all have yards although you may need to do work to it to make it better suited to your needs - the light will depend on the actual location but the ones I have seen have been reasonably light. The apartments however can be fairly dark so you need to double check you will definitely be in a villa rather than apartment.

If you Google Beverly Hills Al Rayyan you'll get lots of photos, link to their FB page, etc. It looks lovely. We live in Beverly Hills Garden 1, which is near Aspire, and from the look of the pics it's nowhere near as nice as the Al Rayyan Bev Hills! A big bonus is that the maintenance is very good with these compounds (part of the Al Asmak Real Estate group).
