Hi

I am looking for two things -

1) somewhere near mirdif that I can take my son to and play some tennis with soft balls if you know what I mean, nothing structured, just somewhere we can go and have a knock about in the cool.

2) Those old fashion lolly maker pots, you know where you pour your lolly mixture in and then put a top on which is also a stick and then freeze them so you can make your own lollies - do they even do them anymore and where could I find them??

TIA

CHeck if the nearest public park has tennis courts that you can pre-book. DH often pre-books and plays tennis at Barsha Pond Park. I've seen a "pond park" on Beirut Street, on the right side when driving towards Sharjah, which may be convenient for you.

Tchibo in mirdif city center or mirdif uptown has the lolly things, with sticks included.

For one - probably at the Aviation club tennis courts or any park? If he's interested in more structured lessons, Paul Espie at Clark Francis does a brilliant mini-tennis clinic on Saturdays at JPS for kids 4 to 7 or 8 years old. He uses the proper system of starting with the big foam balls that even little kids can hit well and then going to red, orange and finally green balls ... [email protected]

2) Try Lulu or Daiso. I got mine from Lulu a while back, but I have seen them in Daiso recently edited by Alismum on 16/09/2014
