Where have the Kings threads gone from the schools board? There were 2 of them earlier, but both seem to have been deleted. They both had long (and very clearly spam) comments praising Kings so they got deleted, clearly a marketing gimmick

It'd be nice to be one of them! The wealthy people! Yeah I think the 100% paying went out with the economic crash! But I guess any help is hugely appreciated. And some major planning!

ugh I know whenever I see these fees I wonder how people pay for them! I am also wondering the same thing. But these schools are opening at those fees so there must be the demand for them and people willing to pay... People must be getting some kind of help via work with paying for these fees, as I just don't see how else it is possible. I think that some companies pay a percentage of school fees, but I doubt that there are many companies who would pay 100% of those fees. I think that there are a lot of wealthy people here... We own our own business so we pay all of our fees ourselves. With what we earn, anywhere else we'd be considered wealthy. Here, we are just getting by ...

There is just no way an ordinary person without schooling allowance can pay 60,000 for FS1. We are getting worried now as if DS doesn't get accepted to an established school we have some big decisions to make. Is that for a year?

They have a little "advertising" campaign going on... I drive past it too...A lot of building work going on at that place (and did Nad Al Sheba even open...they seem not to talk about it?). Building sites + children? The one is Nad Al Sheba still lots of construction as well no road open so definitely not open yet.

Kings are not the only school to take money at registration. Many schools do it regardless of wait list size. Some even ask for money for assessment.

Yes indeed, they have to pay for these new schools somehow right my little one was on the wait list for the original kings since she was 6 months of age and she still didn't get into FS1 , and then the registrar said 'but we have these lovely new schools with openings would you be interested in sending her there?' my reply; 'Ummm prices are ridiculous. No'. Thought I was doing the right thing by getting in early at 6 months of age and to think they continued to put people on the wait list and take the AED500 registration fee for years is beyond me, even knowing they wouldn't have spaces available. Taking parents hard earned cash is deceitful and wrong. edited by SimpleDimple5 on 24/09/2014

Fees are outrageous but in comparison to the original Kings, guess they have to pay for the new school some how
