AnonDubai, thank you. And yes, it is expensive but my husband has his business in Dubai and I work in Al Ain so we are both, back and forth constantly. It is more tiring than anything and I am never sure exactly where I left anything!

I know that you are in Al Ain. Let me see if they have any stores in the Abu Dhabi emirate.

My kid loves next, justice, and children's place. She also loves Tchibo and brands for less which carries (at a discount) big girl Gymboree and others, plus stylish shoes.

Justice I second this. My niece loves Justice, the designs, colors and styles really appeal to tweens. Yes. Every time we walk by this store, my daughter begs me to go inside... Yes, my two girls love it as well.

Splash has a section for that age group. You could also look for tshirts/leggings/dresses in H&M and Forever 21 - their clothes are pretty small and may fit her :-)

The Children's Place in MCC goes up to age 14. My eight year old really likes it and *whispers* I nearly bought a pair of trousers for me when I was last in there. Where/What is MCC? Sorry for my retail ignorance. City Center Mirdif in Dubai edited by AnonDubai on 29/09/2014

Does anyone have any good recommendations other than Zara for western style clothes for my DD? She has outgrown the children's sections of Monsoon, Mothercare, Mom and Me etc but is too young to wear adult styles (10 years old). She usually wear kandoora and an abaya if going outside, but really enjoys wearing western clothes too. Please help.
