Hi All

Does anyone know if we could get monthly accommodation in a nice part of Abu Dhabi. We would sign a 6 month lease or if someone knew of shared accommodation we could rent with Western people. We are a married couple from Ireland.

I would appreciate any help

firstly its the way its done here, 1 year rentals all up front, some may split the cost in 2 or more cheques, but you are still liable for the whole amount whichever way its split, the only monthly ones are hotel apartments which are expensive.... sharing with non family members is illegal without the owners permission as its considered subletting and against the law. you need to get a tawtheeq in order to get visas etc and that proves that you have a legal unit and legal utilties bills etc.

Thanks Sarahlou123. Have tried Justrentals but they are all 1 year lease. There's very few apts on monthly basis in AD that are nice. It's very disappointing but will keep looking :)
