Hi ladies,
I really want my 2 year old DD to know Arabic, but no one in my family speaks it, and her nursery is not very Arabic focused, and neither are any of the schools I'm planning on putting her in. It will be the basic Arabic I learned growing up here in school, which is not very useful, I'd like her to be quite fluent at it.
I will be putting her in kids Arabic classes when she's a bit older, but I read that the younger you start to introduce multiple languages to children, the better.
Any suggestions on what I can do to introduce Arabic? Some Arabic flashcards at home maybe? Not sure how that will work since I don't know Arabic myself
A friend suggested letting her watch Arabic dubbed cartoons, but I don't let DD watch much TV so I;d rather not encourage a TV habit
