It's perhaps worth checking these surgeons out. I chose Dr Najoomi as he specialises in shoulders and that was where I had my problems.

Had a good experience with Dr Imtiaz Hashmi at Medcare (visiting doctor) and Dr Senthil Nathan at Welcare (permanent). Went to abt a dozen orthos/neuros when I had a slipped disc. Everyone wanted to do disc replacement surgery. These two were willing (and able) to treat it with meds and physio.

Either City Hospital, they have some good Ortho guys or UP and Running on Al Wasal road Dr Anna in case physio/other treatment can sort it out. edited by Lolacat on 23/10/2014

I can highly recommend Dr Najoomi at Mediclinic, both The Meadows and Arabian Ranches.

May I please have some recommendations for tried and tested orthopedic surgeons? My husband's wrist is causing him increasingly excruciating pain and I seem to have suddenly developed pain in the joints of two fingers on one hand! We've both been to an ortho to whom we were referred by Dubai London Clinic but considering our combined experiences, the man is COMPLETELY out to lunch. And that's being supremely polite!! Many many thanks in advance.
