Question for those of you who have had the eyelid surgery done in the UAE. My eye doctor in the states told me, right before moving here, that I my vision was more than 50% obscured by the eyelid drooping. In the states, the surgery would most likely be covered by insurance. Is it the same here, since it is not strictly for cosmetic reasons?

At the American Academy for Cosmetic surgery hosp. in DHCC there is prof dr Wayne Smith.He has been in the UAE for more than 15 years...big on plastic and reconstructive jobs and an amazing guy who spends time with his patients and really cares. He did my eyelids and another minor job and I was extremely happy with the result.He has a vast amount of before and after pictures to show you results you can expect and I was very comfortable with him.You can google his name or just make an appointment to see him

26 June I had upper and lower with Dr. Jaffer Khan, I had never been to him before but had read so much about him and I have had cosmetic surgery here before and tried several dermatologists for skin rejuvenation. Dr. Khan is AMAZING, he took 10 years off my face with the eye surgery, I wouldn't go to anyone else now - Good Luck

If you're looking for a surgeon in the Gulf then go to Dr Bizrah, my family has amazing experience with him. If you want to do this abroad you can check for Dr East in London. You need to do proper research for surgeons in the UK etc. I would prefer doing a procedure like this with Dr Bizrah, his results are spectacular and I would stay in the comfort of my home

I have just read an article on expatwomen for eyelid surgery by Dr. Bizrah. Take a look at it. I trust Dr. Bizrah with facial surgery. He also works with dermatology doctors and plastic surgeons for the body. I always recommend you see a surgeons before and after images, before deciding on going for a surgery. Hi! I am looking for an experienced plastic surgeon to do lower eye lid surgery. has any one of you done this in Dubai? Or know of a doctor who is excellent at doing this? Dr Allen Rezai in dubai healthcare city, I had full facelift including upper and lower blepharoplasty, chin liposuction and fat transfer with him and would highly recommend him. It's done for all botox procedures... I do my botox and fillers regularly; those dots are put by doctors to have it done accurately.. That's the very first time a DR here or in the UK has ever done that and ive been doing both for 3 years :-) I looked as if I had the measles haha
