My baby was jaundiced and got phototherapy for 3 days. After that I noticed her skin much darker. I'd like to know if anyone else noticed this effect of phototherapy and if it's permanent

It fades away after a month or so. It's not permanent.

My newborn also got jaundice in his second day until 3 weeks. He is 6 weeks 4 days now n his skin became darker n yellowish. He was white n pink before the jaundice developed. But he is healthy n that's more important.
