Hello everyone :)
I need some help regarding Nikkah process in Dubai. I will be coming to Dubai since my fiancé lives there for our Nikkah InShaAllah in December. We are trying to find a mufti that is available to come and perform the Nikkah ceremony. Someone who is certified to authorize it from the ministry as well and can travel to our venue. If anyone has information regarding a mufti who is English-speaking that we can contact then please let me know :)
Also, I am aware that we will need to get medical test done as it's a requirement to get Nikkah done. What hospitals and clinics perform these tests? I contacted Al-Bahara hospital in Dubai and that's the only one I know of right now. Can you please let me know of other hospitals?

Thank you to everyone!!

To find out who is authorized to conduct marriages, I would contacts the courts. You might find some information here: http://www.dubai.ae/en/Lists/Articles/DispForm.aspx?ID=23&event=Getting%20married%20in%20Dubai&category=Citizens It also mentions that you should go to a government hospital for a pre-marital check up. I know of one in Al Barsha. Also make sure you have all the relevant documents, information on that is also on the same page. There you go, a full list of licenced "mazoon" (who conducts the marriage): http://www.dubaicourts.gov.ae/portal/page?_pageid=292%2c457284&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL HTH edited by Marroosh on 22/11/2014
