It is not legal. It happens a lot, but it's under the radar. Even tutors who come to your home are doing something illegal and so are you by paying them, unless they are self-employed and associated with a legitimate tutoring company in somewhere like Knowledge Village - and even then, I'm not certain it's legitimate for them to come to work in your home.

Lots of people work from home, either by agreement with employer or with a free zone visa. I think it's fie and have done for a while.

Hi - I have a small baby and not ready to go to work outside of the home yet, I was wondering if there is work you can legally do in Dubai from home? I haven't heard of data entry positions or anything in the UAE but perhaps someone has some idea?
