My daughter had an umbilical hernia as a baby - we were living in Sweden where the policy was to do absolutely nothing before the age of 4 as most disappear naturally without treatment - and that it exactly what happened although it took 2-3 years to fully disappear
My 6 wo has a small red lump appearing from his belly button. The belly button has previously healed well and no issues until a few days ago.I think it might be a Granuloma or a Hernia but not sure yet. I have 2 questions:
Does anyone have any experience of this?
Can anyone recommend a good pediatrician who can treat this or in general? Insurance not yet processed and want to get my baby seen to ASAP.
