I really dont want to be paying dhs130 at Marks & Spencer for something that costs £7-10 in the UK. Its cheap plastic toys inside after all! Anyone know where there are more affordable christmas crackers?

Waitrose crackers are the same price in Spinneys as they are in the UK - 58 dhs for 6 and 116 dhs for 12 (UK price £10 and £20).

Choitrams - the cheapest box in there is AED 35, and have surprisingly good bits and bobs for the price, and some very funny jokes we hadn't heard before! ETA there are 12 in a box, and they were red and silver <em>edited by pinks on 22/12/2014</em>

I bought eight 'luxury' crackers in LuLu (upstairs) for Dhs 44.50 yesterday. They are quite large and they had them in gold and silver colourways. They also had some smaller ones in different colourways and styles for Dhs26 - can't remembr how many in a box, though! Lots of other choices too.
