Another vote for Celmetro. They just replaced the digitiser (screen) on our iPad. It cost Dhs 295 which included pick up and delivery (usually 24 hour turnaround or less), as well as a 2 year warranty. Like simpleasabc said, not necessarily cheap, but I was happy to pay for the convenience and the warranty :)

Thanks I have used these guys for a broken iphone ( not cracked screen) I got mine done in the UK Perhaps give them a call as I have seen people in there with cracked screens and they replaced my phone when it broke http://www.abmcare.com/contactus.php They are around the corner from Byblos Hotel in Tecom Minutes do them but I found them very expensive
