I would be wary of the Saudi German hospital because I have heard from a doctor who left there, that the doctors must bring in a minimum amount of operations monthly. A quota, so to speak. So if an operation is recommended, do get a second opinion - it could be unnecessary. I think its in several places in Dubai that they have this policy ..
I have been through the mill with my dad with doctors. He was happiest with the heart specialist at the american hospital Dr Halak and quite happy at the neuro spinal hospital with the heart doc there but he is an old man, not a child.
I have been under the care of Dr. Mittal, Head of Cardiology at Al Garhoud Private Hospital for the past twelve months. I was transferred as an emergency from Medcare to Al Garhoud and he operated on me twice within a few weeks. Can highly recommend him.

Hi, after several :"bad" cardiologists, we were advised to go and see Dr. Mohamed Sulaiman at Dubai Mall Clinic, he looked after my DS and was fantastic, his approach was really spot on and my DS felt comfortable with him, he got to the root of the problem and was really great.
I would definitely just say though, that if you are unhappy with whom ever you go to and are worried definitely trust your instinct and get a second opinion.
We were originally under Dr. Sameer Sajwani (i think he is only pediatric anyway)at city hospital and although people raved about him, I found him unprofessional and his manner left a lot to be desired, which is why I went somewhere else, he gave me incorrect information and claimed there was nothing wrong medically with my son, when in fact it was the complete opposite.
You simply cannot be too picky or careful when it come to your health, good luck.
