Ladies I was wondering if any of you knew a place in Satwa that can replicate school emblems on shirts?
The school uniforms are so much here so as planning on getting plain white shirts and polo tops in the Uk and seeing if I could get the school embroidery done else where - I know that sounds pretty tight but my son can trash a shirt in no time and it costs a fortune.
Any help as always is gratefully excepted.

Oh but this... The school makes us give uniform receipts presumably to make sure we're properly ripped off. I mean that they have the approved gear lol

I was actually thinking the same thing as my son has torn up two shirts at 100 dhs a pop and they're such crappy material anyways. However, the logo is intact so I was thinking they could maybe pop it off and put it on a new shirt.... My issue was they don't have his shirt size in stock in the uniform store anymore.

A mum in our class did this recently she said in the end it worked out more expensive and time consuming then if she'd just bought from the school uniform shop. I'd you do find someone cost effective then I'm sure we'd all like to know though ?

If you go to a place that doesn't already do the embroidery for your school emblem you may find that you pay quite a bit just to get the artwork drawn up and into their system but then after that it's really cheap to get the embroidery on your item. Therefore might be an idea to get a few parents together and all chip in to get the artwork done then anybody can go there with their shirt, etc and get the embroidery done at very little cost.

There is an embroidery place in Oasis Mall in the basement. They maybe able to help. Also there is another company called Tag it Now (www.tagitnow.org) that specialise in this but I don’t know how pricey they are. Have seen some of their work at a school fair and looked good. The contact number is 055 553 0101. HTH

Most skilled tailors can do it if u give them a sample to copy. It's a good idea as some schools use the worst fabrics and the prices don't even compare to the quality. edited by Cowboy on 30/03/2015
