It seems strange that we cannot find any home based work we can do in Dubai .There are so many expat women like me are here at home looking after kids and wasting at least 5-6 productive working hours at home ..I wonder if someone can come up with a wonderful idea as to what we should do to earn some money while at home in Dubai

You could join a network marketing company and start your own business from home. They fall under the Direct Sales Association here so have different regulations so can sell from home etc. All you need is a valid UAE visa, NOC from sponsor and valid contract from the company to be legally working from home selling products or building a team. Thank you so much .I never thought about this but now I will have a look :) I buy products from a Forever Living rep I'm happy to get you in touch so you can have a chat to her email me on star dot southern at ymail dot com (no spaces)

I don't think freelancing is illegal, otherwise sites like Nabbesh.com would have been shut down ages ago. Jesspass you can try Nabbesh for work from home freelance jobs, they have a range of freelance jobs from data entry to accounting to design! Article from Nabbesh: http://blog.nabbesh.com/2013/10/finally-everything-you-ever-wanted-to-know-about-the-rules-of-freelancing-in-the-uae/ edited by sourskittleashnut on 31/03/2015 Freelancing is legal - but only if you have a freelancing visa/permit (as noted in the Nabbesh link), which I have heard (don't know the fee for a fact) runs around AED 20k. While trying to find an "official" cost, came across this: [url=http://www.askexplorer.com/dubai/residents/how-tos/work-business/freelance-employment/applying-for-a-freelance-employment-visa'>link[/url'> edited by laurelm on 15/04/2015
