Does anyone know of any cancer awareness events that are happening in the near future?
Being South African there was (10 years ago, not sure if it still takes place) a shave-a-thon where people could go and shave their hair off to raise awareness for cancer and also donate their hair to make wigs for cancer survivors.
My sister has recently been diagnosed with cancer and she has started losing her hair because of the chemo. We are all heartbroken but are supporting her and I would actually like to shave my hair. Would want to donate my hair, but not sure if this is possible in the UAE?
Does anyone have any info or advice regarding this?
