I am making my facebook more secure, I think I have most of it done but cannot seem to make my photos or timeline so that people other than my friends cannot see them. Can someone give me some details how to do this?

Through settings, you can make everything private to 'Friends only' - meaning people can't add you as a friend, messages are sent to 'other inbox' from people who aren't friends and generally your timeline is on lock down for any other previous posts. You can choose to secure past posts, which updates your privacy settings for past posts to your desired settings now as of course, they've developed over the years. You can make your profile pictures private, but you have to individually change the setting in each... and you can't make cover photos private at all.

I'm sorry, can't help you as I don't have a Facebook account. But the words 'Facebook' and 'privacy' are a contradictio in terminis for me.
