Anything, in any reasonable condition, in Meadows, Springs, Lakes or Arabian Ranches is not seeing any rent reductions unfortunately. I think AR and the Lakes are even seeing rent increases. We looked at Jumeriah Park as an alternative, but no real community feel to it, so not an option for us. Agreed It's a shame about Jumeriah Park as we looked at that too but just didn't feel right. No kids on bikes etc. I don't think the nice places will fall any time soon.

And even if they go down, I somehow doubt that the rent calculator will be updated downward. LL's will keep that as their benchmark for annual renewal (raise!). Yes, but if equal properties are being advertised for less, people will move eventually. Good point. Personally I would probably not go through the hassle of moving. But I hope others would.

Are rents in Dubai going down? Apparently they are in International City and Deira The Marina, Greens, Downtown, Tecom and Palm nope
