With my first child never had anything like this. With baby no2 I am experiencing this (lactostasis I guess). I don't produce too much milk - this is the most interesting part. But today I woke up with this hard as stone one side of my left breast. And my LO is not helping me as she doesn't like when no milk comes out, she just pushes me away.
So where I can search help: is it lactation specialist? or mammologist (do they exist in Dubai?)
Today is Friday and I wouldn't like to delay this too much before it's too late.
Please advise who can I go to? Any recommendations please?

Thank you, ladies. Seems pretty common thing in many women I know. Am feeling better now. I bought an electric breast pump and my friend came over to help + cabbage leaf. Before bed time DD sucked all the milk and breast feels relieved, thank God.

You need to treat this as soon as possible. Go have a hot bath or shower and have a packet of frozen peas to hand. Alternate between hot and cold. The cabbage will help too. If you feel unwell or have any red patches or a high fever go to docs or hospital.

As said above try get baby to drink or use a breast pump and do continue massage. Weird as it may sound, Savoy cabbage leaf in your bra around that breast will give you some relief also. And do try getting to a medical person or breastfeeding support person tomorrow if you cannot get the it to reduce with massage and pumping. Best of luck - its very uncomfortable.

you could try a hot face cloth applied take a 10 min break and try again with the hot cloth...when you are resting between put any kind of oil, though coconut is great if you have it and massage your breast gently pushing toward the nipple... but also in circles...then the hot wet cloth again....then get to the dr. tomorrow or tonight if it does not clear... any emergency dept can help....

Besides having it checked by a doctor (sorry, can't recommend one) maybe try and and massage your breast gently towards your nipple. And maybe it might be possible to have your baby drink when she is half asleep. They usu have a little more patience when they are half asleep. Before you latch her, try and stimulate your breast for the milk to come (don't know how you would call that in English, but stimulate until you feel that prickling feeling which means that milk is coming). Which side of your breast is it? Is it possible to latch your baby with her chin towards the sore side? It might be a 'clogged' milk gland (gosh I wish I knew the terminology in English )

I would just go to the Emergency and they will refer to a specialist if need be. Go to Rashid if you don't have insurance.
