We would like to bring our housemaid/nanny back to Ireland with us for the summer. It seems that she should have a work permit to enter Ireland, as she will continue her duties while there, however visas for this category of worker are no longer being issued. The alternative is that she comes on a visit/short term visa. A lot of paper work is required for this and I have not heard of anyone being able to do it yet. If anyone has any personal experience I would appreciate your input. TIA
