I was just going to say the same thing. We used a company called Currency Index and they were brilliant. The young lad even rang us to say the transfer may be a day or so late, if that was ok with us, as the rates were on the up :biggrin: And it was all done online and via email.

It depends on the amount. If it is a large amount it is best to do it through an exchange brokers like HiFX to get the best exchange rate. If it is a small amount then an international transfer from your UAE account to a UK account will do, just check the fees so you are aware of the costs.
