Hi Ladies! I just got engaged and while I am still relishing in my "just engaged bubble" I was reminded that I also need to start planning :-) Anyone can recommend a bridal shop in Dubai? I have a modest budget and prefer not to exceed 5000 AED. As much as I would love to look my best on our BIG day, I don't feel comfortable spending OTT on a dress I'll be wearing just once. Thank you all!!! I have heard that ASOS are about to launch wedding dresses too. I believe they are hoping to launch in April 2016 and prices will start from.... 60 Pounds. !!!! xxx

Hi congrats on your engagement! Recently my soon to be sister in law was in town and she wanted to have a look around Dubai to get some ideas. I took her to the Bridal Shop on Jumeirah Beach Road and the Bridal Room in JLT. The Bridal Shop is run by the sweetest Pilipino lady. I expected fancy! because of all the recommendations on EW but it is actually a smallish store but still with a lot of dresses. The dresses were amazing and I saw quite a few in there that were in your price range. I then understood why it was so popular; great service, great dresses, and great prices. So you basically don't have to pay for the velvety carpet under you feet when you try dresses on. (they also don't have clips for trying dresses on , which was a little puzzling but still we made it work) Our second and final store was the Bridal Room in JLT. This place was very flashy and I would say if you want to have some fun with your girlfriends head over there. They have an amazing space and show you the dresses on an Ipad for selection. My sister in law to be tried on 17 dresses! and they really didn't blink an eye. The space there was very plush and really what I envisioned from what I have seen in movies of what bridal stores were like, we didn't catch a glimpse of the prices but one very detailed dress which turned out to be (scary but not too scary) of 8900. I am sure they would have something there and if not try on some to try and discover your shape and style preference. ;) Thank you january_dxb! I will definitely check both shop. Dubai is not the easiest to find an affordable yet gorgeous wedding dress. I'm already scared with how much my friends spent with their Dubai bought dresses

Can you please add the link again? It's not visible in the trail. Thanks!!!
