We're looking to move to Mirdiff. I don't know much about it, we just got here less than a week ago. We want to live away from the flight path, which areas?

More importantly, I'm a stay at home mum of 2 toddlers (3 and 1.5 yo) and I would like to put them in activities (not nurseries)- what is one you guys would recommend? Any swimming classes in the area? Something like a structured playgroup or parent-participation classes.

If Mirdiff doesn't have any such thing, then I may look to move elsewhere that does have. Suggestions welcome.

Thank you

Did you go for Mirdif, as we're considering it as well? I've heard that the Dubai Public Library in Rashidiya is an easy 10 min drive from Mirdif: http://www.dubaipubliclibrary.ae/en/aboutlibrary/Pages/Visitus.aspx

Thanks for that. I am just browsing their website now. Its what I'm looking for - is there anything else similar? On another note, is there a library?
