I'm from San Francisco. I am infertile and we have been trying to conceive for 3 years already. I've heard from a friend that trying various fertility treatments would help a lot with our plans of having a baby. She said that there are IVF and cheap surrogacy in Tabasco Mexico. My question is, should I believe her and travel to Mexico to try it out? Here's the link that she shared http://www.placidway.com/package/1551/Affordable-Surrogacy-in-Mexico-%7C...

Thanks in advance for your response.

I've been to MX for treatment and now have twins. There is a LOT of info at ivf.ca Saved a ton, had far better treatment than from top docs in US and better outcomes Unfortunately Surrogacy has been banned now in Mexico as well as India.

Hi goldiejohnson26, Many people travel abroad to have fertility treatment, not just in North America but in Europe too. IVF is an expensive treatment and it is why people travel to keep cost down. Do not forget that travel can sometimes be expensive too. This is a decision that only you can decided if it is right for you or not. Just make sure you do your research and that you have the right medical insurance. Try and speak to as many people as possible who have had IVF abroad so you know the medical center you chose comes highly recommended. It might be worth checking out the WHO website to learn more about fertility treatments in other countries http://www.who.int/reproductivehealth/about_us/en/ HTH EW Emily Hi goldiejohnson26, Hope you are doing well. I was also going through the same phase dear two years back . It was about three years post my marriage but was unable to conceive. Me and my husband has faceed a heart break because of not being able to have a baby. Then a friend of mine told me about midwives . They helped me and guided with some natural solutions and therapies . I attended their conselling sssions too along with my husband. That also helped me a lot . At present, I am a mother of a one year old baby girl. I am realyy grateful to them . Regarding your infertility, I would say that the midwife’s role includes offering pre-conceptual advice to prospective parents, for example, nutrition, lifestyle or screening choices but in my own experience, midwives don’t usually seek details of conception once a pregnancy is confirmed. To know more about such natural techniques for fertility and midwves- [url=http://edition.cnn.com/2015/05/10/opinions/friedlander-midwife-mothers-day/ '>link[/url'> [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midwife '>link[/url'> [url=http://www.lamidwifecollective.com/'>link[/url'> [url=http://www.huffingtonpost.com/news/midwifery/'>link[/url'> However, midwives may be aware that a woman in their care has had an ‘IVF pregnancy’ and she also knows what relevance this has to their practice. In general terms, knowledge of what is involved in fertility treatments may be useful during discussions with clients. Midwives should also are aware of how fertility treatments might affect a pregnancy, both physically and psychologically. For example, pregnancy, and the prospect of parenthood, is obviously joyful for previously infertile couples. This is my personal experience that they are really a blessing for the women like us. They know how and what to do by using natural techniques . I hope my experience and ideas will help you. Take the treatment and let me know afterwards. I am sure this time it will be a positive one. All the best dear and thanks in advance dear ! bye:bye:

I wouldn't do it in Mexico. Unless it is with a renowned doctor and medical costs might be high and you will have to factor in the cost of accommodation in Mexico. Hormonal Drugs you will take during the IVF cycle will also be quite expensive
