They've just recently launched in the UAE and offer home and car insurance comparison, much like the UK aggregators. Good thing with them is that you can buy your insurance online. Last time I checked they were offering Zurich, AIG and Oman Insurance products for apartments and villas. There are other comparison sites too like Souq Al Mal and CompareIt4Me, but from what I can see they are more focused on loans and credit cards and you can't buy insurance online with them. I used a guy named Craig from global eye. ( I know its not online) He was really good, and got me a better rate than any other company. Also used him for my life insurance/critical illness. I hadn't heard of beat the market, but this was also a few years back.

Hey Ladies! Thanks for recommendations. I just bought home insurance from Beatthemarket.com. It reminded me of the UK sites - very simple and easy and they have Zurich, Oman, AIG to choose from. They also have live chat support which helped. Insurance market don't give you the quotes or let you buy online so I didn't trust it.
