Hi all,

Been feeling pretty homesick for a while now and just wondered if anyone else ever feels the same way as sometimes I feel it's only me. We moved here in April and went home in the summer for 2 months but I just don't yet feel this is my home :( it's lovely here and I don't actually want to go home yet but I can't shake the feeling off of missing my friends and family and familiarity.

How long did it take you to settle?

It can be really hard living as an expat. You can be the loneliest person in the world, recently i delivered a baby and this keeps me busy. If you don't keep yourself busy, it'll be hard on you. For me, I've been here a bit over a year and still getting used to it... Take care, as your social circle grows, you'll be ok.
