I have received a fine for speeding at 1:40 in the morning. I know I wasn't there but can't prove it, The police website doesn't have a photo attached to the fine.
Is there any point in me questioning the fine or should I just accept it as another cost of living in Dubai?!

My husband got a parking ticket recently over in Media City despite having purchased the 2 dh. permit. The time on police issued ticket is 2 minutes before his 2 dh. parking permit expired and was clearly visible in the window. I went over the RTA in Barsha (where we live), and I was told if I want to contest this I must go over to the RTA in Rashadiya. The fine is 200 Dhs., but the thought of having to go all the way across town just to get this sorted is discouraging as I really don't have the time. There is no reason the local RTA office should not be able to handle this stuff. Once again, they win.
