HI,

Anyone knows a place to buy pine branches for an Advent Wreath? Or in worst case an already made one?

Dubai Garden Centre does fresh pre-made wreaths -- big, lush, beautiful!; all you need to do is add your own decorations/lights/etc. We use them every year. In fact, I am just popping into EW to see the Christmas Tree updates because we're in the market (obviously!) and I wanted to know which vendor has received what for purchase so far .... We generally use DGC for tree etc but dates of arrival can vary.

Oleander on Beach Road (near Mercato). And surprisingly much cheaper than in Satwa. Satwa 850 for an 8ft tree, Oleander 600! Pretty sure they have branches too. And their wreaths are beautiful.

When the Christmas trees come in at Satwa, beside the Iranian hospital, you may find that they trim some of the trees and have spare branches you could buy. You might also find in Al Aweer where many of the flower shops are situated. Plants are much cheaper out there. Way to get there follow the Hatta signs, go past Dragon mart, at the end of the road at the round about turn right, drive down to the next roundabout and turn left. All the plant shops are there.
