Hi All, we might have an unexpected move from Doha to Dubai and was hoping we would still be able to find a place in a school for 2016/2017 FS1?

Take a look at WhichSchoolAdvisor.com as well as they do look at all of the schools around in Dubai. Reliable and impartial.

Hi Mrs Pink, We moved from Doha to Dubai last January (best move ever by the way!). My son was in FS2 at the time and we got a place for him at Safa Private School starting in Jan. We also applied for an FS1 place for my daughter for this year (15/16) at the end of January. I believe the school is still taking applications for Sept 2016 as they do assessments at the end Jan/start Feb. Good luck with the move.

Try Repton. I know they had a couple of spaces at the beginning of this year. The Early Years department is outstanding, and not just in terms of KHDA ratings. ?

In that case, try * Kings (Nad al Sheba, Barsha and Um Suqueim) * Foremarke near the Ranches * Hartland * the new Dubai British School in Jumeirah Park and Dubai British Foundation in the Meadows * Safa Community School near the Ranches * the new Ranches Primary School in Arabian Ranches 2 * the new Jebel Ali School near Mudon (used to be JAPS) -- too many new schools to mention really and all likely to have places. If they say no, push a bit and they will probably find you a place ...

Sooo many places but helpful if you narrow down the location and curriculum. Try the new DBS in Jumeirah Park, for example. Great thanks!. We would like a British curriculum. Flexible on location. Thanks! sheikhandbake
