I made a small purchase of about 10$ dollars using Mybox account and my order has been shipped. I did this to check if my orders will be cancelled. Did you guys use Mybox or some other service?

Hi Flames, Did your order go through? No :'( I just called their "Beauty Advisor" and she said that it's because they don't forward to a freight forwarder. I told her that the reason mentioned in my email address was the billing address and I have been doing it for years. The item that I needed was limited edition and out of stock now so I begged her and offered a different address. So she said she will arrange to ship it to my friend's address. So I sent them another email with the new address and also mentioned that I will prefer to have it shipped to the first address. Fingers crossed that they will ship it!

HI, My order was around $260. They cancelled stating that they couldn't verify the payment details. I did order 5 pieces of one limited edition item for myself and some friends. I am not a reseller.....one look at my order history will confirm that as I have never bought more than two pieces of same item. Besides, why do they even let you add 10 pieces of each item? Yesterday, I placed the same order again with my UAE address as the billing address and they haven't cancelled it yet. Fingers crossed that they ship it. I'll update you once they ship my order. Btw, keep your order under AED 1000 or marked it as gift. They will charge you 5% customs and an extra admin fee of AED 125! For Sephora orders, they have an option where you can mark it as gift at checkout :)

Hi mommypie, I made 2 purchases. The first was for 62$ and the second one was for 98$. I don't think that the amount will be flagged as an issue. I read that sometimes they cancel orders if you order multiple items of the same thing. For example, if you order 10 gwen stefani wonderland lipsticks. They might think that you are buying them to resell them at a higher price. Did you check out Nordstorm. They have a lot of products. Also Amazon might be worth checking out. Also if you buy the products from the respective brand's website, you might get some discounts if you are a first time user. Urban decay gives 10% off for first time users. Colourpop cosmetics gives 5$ off and so on. But, I really hope that Sephora is not banned for us. Fingers crossed. BTW, did you try ordering anything after you changed your shipping details.

Please don't tell me that Sephora has banned MyBox too. :cry:

I have used my dad's card in the past and used my MYBOX address as billing and shipping address. B) They don't usually charge you unless your order ships. So the charge on your card was immediately reversed. Some banks like Emirates NBD do not notify you of that. I usually notice it when I compare the balance between previous and next transaction. If the charge still shows, send a message to Sephora US via their fb page and they will immediately sort it out. I had one interaction with Sephora CS via their website and that wasn't good. C) Always use a cashback site to make your purchases! I can't stress this enough. I have saved so much using that and recommend it to everyone. I use Ebates and here is my referral link -http://goo.gl/kpYaLg. Right now, they got 8% cashback on Sephora. You can receive the payment via PAYPAL in dollars. I just recently ordered on the US site for Sephora and shipped to MyBox account. Unfortunately. my order got cancelled because of unauthorized payment confirmation. I put on my shipping name my married name and my billing address my maiden name. Will this flag them to scrupulous transaction? How can I amend this? anyone who experienced the same? How long did you MyBox take to set up? I set up an account 2 days ago and they said they would email me with the details in 48 hours but nothing so far? Sorry to hijack the thread Within an hour, i got an email about the addresses i will use for my orders. Limited list tho than Ship and shop They kindly sorted it all out, with regards to the addresses as long as I have the UK and US I am happy

Hi, I just made a purchase from Sephora yesterday using MyBox and I had no issues. My order has been shipped from Sephora. From what you wrote, it seems that there maybe a small difference between your shipping and billing address. Just keep your billing address and shipping information the same. You should not have any issues.
