I had extensive (three operations) surgery on my ankle in 2009-2010 following a severe dislocation/ligament damage/fracture. The doctor I then used was at Medcare, but has now moved on to Saudi German Hospital. I can highly recommend his care (and after care). I was also diagnosed with post-operative complications -- due to chronic pain syndrome (CPS) -- and my surgeon was wonderful in his support and referrals to a fantastic physio. He's been working in the UAE for many years; give him a call (the link below has his experience/CV). [url=https://www.sghdubai.ae/en/doctor/Dr-Mohammed-Ashfaq-Konchwalla.html'>link[/url'> .

Thanks Castle for your input. Glad your husband's knee surgery went well. I have heard that Dr Opit..(one key doesnt work) is a very good Dr.

Hi, My DH recently underwent an ACL reconstruction. He was treated at Mediclinic City Hospital at Health Care city. Dr. Michael Opitz was his surgeon. Dr. Opitz is a very good doctor and very practical in his approach. He is classified as a “generalist” orthopaedic surgeon he nevertheless has a special interest in lower limb surgery such as hip and knee joint arthroplasty and knee arthroscopic surgery. I got this info from their website. However he did a very good job with DH knee. You may want to check with city hospital if Dr. Opitz will perform ankle surgery.
