I've purchased from Hyperpanda and the Waitrose brand and both have given bad results. I soaked both for at least 8 hours (the Waitrose brand I even soaked for 12), and cooked for 4 hours. (the Hyperpanda kind I slow cooked for 12!!) Still turned out a gritty result.

I made chickpea soup from scratch years ago and turned out velvety and delicious (velvety once blended). I can't remember where bought or which brand those particular chickpeas were.
Help please??

Most of the time I buy them from Organic Market haven't experienced that much of a long process. Or try the brand named Green Valley - I think that was the name- it is a green package for all types of pulses. Can find them at Carrefour MOE.
