You might want to look into GTP (graduate teacher program) which was suitable for people without a PGCE who want to teach. It used to be school based experience with a day in Uni/studying. Not 100% sure how up to date that is but I'm pretty sure Sunderland Uni runs an overseas teacher training course so that maybe worth a look?

I wanted to ask if anyone has any information on how to become a qualified teacher for lower classes in Qatar. Right now I dont really have experience or education within the teaching field, but I am more than interested in becoming a qualified teacher here. I would like to apply for British schools in particular. I heard that you need to complete the PGCE. But im not sure where to begin with this. If anyone has any information that would help me id be highly grateful !
