Yes, that is the law and I have seen both. I have seen person with healed history being allowed as well as packed on same day. It would be good idea to x-ray and see.

As the previous poster said. Have your xrays done first before worrying. Perhaps by this time the scarring has healed a lot and is barely visible. Dont let this opportunity pass you by.

Why do you not have your x ray done in the country you are currently live in and see if, and how much scaring there is and then base your decision on that. If there is no visible signs you should be ok

I have been offered a good teaching job in dubai and I was planning to take it up, but while going through the visa requirements I came across a law that people with a scar in the lungs due to old tb are not granted visa. I did have tb around 15 years back and it's completely healed obviously, is there any chance that I would get through?
