Hi,

We're looking to move to somewhere commutable to the media city area - perhaps Springs or Al Barsha - and need to find a UK curriculum school for my daughter age 7. She has some difficulty at school due to dyslexia and dyscalculia. Are most of the schools academically selective? how large are typical class sizes? Can anyone recommend which schools may suit best? Or any other advice? She will have come from a very small school.

Many thanks!

Hi, We are moving in a couple of weeks and decided to go to a new primary school called OakTree. It's always a bit of a gamble with new schools, but their aims and ethos looked very good. However it might be a bit too far for you. Good luck !

Hi, Perhaps you should contact one of the new schools as normally it is easier to get places there rather than a more established school that may be full. Try Sunmarke in JVT, Dubai British School in Jumeirah Park or Kings at Al Barsha as they may be able to help you and are quite close to the Springs. Good luck.
