You could also try supplementing with seaweed. A daily tablet of seaweed taken orally (or content poured into orange juice). It worked very well for to supplement a deficiency that was causing hair loss, and also somehow helped me shed weight, which I wasn't necessarily looking to do.

This remedy is regarded as one of most effective and oldest ones. The reason behind is that it contains sulphur that boosts collagen production in the tissues and helps in the re-growth of hair. Don’t let its strong smell keep you away from using it, because it goes off just after one rinse. To try this remedy, cut a few slices of onion and squeeze out its juice (either by mashing it or grating it) and apply it on your scalp for about 10-15 minutes. Let it work its magic and then rinse it off with a mild shampoo.

my moms age old remedy used over generations: for a medium sized mason jar: coconut oil, one tablespoon of fenugreek seeds, one handful curry leaves with stems...bring them all to a boil , and use it every alternate day or headwash day. Wash off with amla ( gooseberry) powder. this washes off all chemical residue of shampoo and nourishes the roots. Besides this, I take Biotin tablets.

Castor Oil massaged into the scalp is a natural remedy which promotes new hair growth. Agreed :-) It needs to be done religiously though, and give it a few months to start working.

Apply this oil to have a healthy and strong hair...Take a handful of curry leaves and dry it in the sun for 2 days. Once its dried, powder it along with a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds. Take a cup of coconut oil and boil it, once it starts boiling add the blended powder. Keep this oil aside for 10 days. You will notice that the sediments have settled down. Strain it and store it in the bottle.

Hey Clessani, I've got an amazing hair loss treatment that helps makes the hair healthy and thick and it's natural. Simply boil some water with a handful of curry leafs (surprisingly the curry leafs do not smell like curry powder), and if you like you can add a stem of rosemary and allow it to boil. The water should become yellow or orange (depending on how long you leave it to boil), either way it can be used. Allow it to cool and after you've finished your shower just pour this water onto your head and let your hair dry. Your hair will not smell bad at all and you will notice a difference by the second or third time that you do this. I never shower without curry leafs now!
