If it isn't time sensitive, you could always purchase a bank draft and mail it to your account in Oz. A friend in Dubai used to do that rather than pay electronic transfer fees.

As far as I know , here in Qatar your bank will provide the best rate . You can do it through Western Union too but I find they are more expensive than a bank transfer .

Hello ladies if anyone has any recommendations for an FX company to transfer QAR to an australian account, I'd be so grateful. Not seen any companies who deal in QAR and I'm not sure transferring directly from my CBQ account is the best way due to fees and exchange rates. Thanks for your help
