I will be meeting a few Saudi families for brunch during the up coming Eid holidays. What is the etiquette in terms of gift giving and other things? Any greetings I should say and color of clothings I should avoid?

Will the traffic be particularly bad in some areas .e.g. JBR? I heard it is also a big shopping festival...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Greet the eldest first، now I don't mean by the exact order just when there is someone that is significantly older in the room. we greet them by shaking their hand and kissing their head lightly, now I don't know if the same goes with someone you're not familiar with.. Always use your right hand while eating or when you're giving someone something. it's not mandatory but it's the polite thing to do. you can bring some home-made dessert or chocolate tray arrangement, Eid-themed preferably. you can wear whatever color you want. "Eid mubarak" is a classic
