Burj al Arab breakfast
Sorry to say I was a bit disappointed with this event. The venue was superb, and the breakfast was lovely but in Breast Cancer Awareness Week I felt that a talk primarily focussing on promoting plastic surgery for reasons of vanity, rather than necessity, was inappropriate. Obviously each to their own when it comes to having work done, but some women in the audience had most likely suffered from breast cancer and needed reconstructive surgery; to couple this with talking about tummy tucks, breast augmentation/reduction, Botox and fillers was insensitive to say the least.
