I work in Dubai and my family is under my sponsorship. Now my husband wants to set up a business in the UAE and apply for a trade license. Is he allowed to do this and can he still be under my sponsorship while runnning his business? Anyone have experience with this? Thank you in advance.

Your husband can own the business but probably not be allowed to run it, you should check with an accountant to be sure

Technically no. Husbands can't work under a wife's sponsorship. If he's setting up a business through a freezone, he can get his own visa. As the company owner, he's have an investor visa. All easy enough to set up.
