Advice needed from parents. Moving to Doha with 2 children under 5 years old
Hi everyone
We are from England and my husband has just accepted a job in Doha, he starts on 20th August.
We have a 4 year old boy and 2 year old girl.
My main concerns are as follows
1. My boy is due to start reception in September. Which are the best British schools? And shall I apply now for him to start in Jan 2018?
2. Where is the best place to live? A compound? Villa? Apartment? What area is by the schools & kindergartens? It's a big thing to me that we have greenery/a park/a shared school. Our budget is 10,000 a month.
3. Will my children be happy there? Are there lots of fun things to do of an evening and weekend? For example bowling/any water parks ect.
4. Will my kids be able to To swimming lessons/dance lessons/football clubs?
I must admit I am extremely anxious about the move but also want the children to experience a different culture and way of living.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
