Hi ladies,

I am moving to Qatar from the Uk. I am trying to get as organised as possible.
Can't anyone recommend the best place/way to obtain health insurance over there.

If your company wont pay for insurance , just get the Hamad one . Its the government health insurance . For 100 QR a year and it pretty much covers everything ( or you will find that procedures are heavily subsidized ) . Once you know how to maneuver the Hamad system , it becomes pretty easy .

To Qatar?? Don't want to worry you, but are you aware of recent developments with the political situation there? Not been good since June: sanctions imposed by neighbouring countries and problems still not resolved. Make sure you know what you are going to :idea:
