Registering your children for school in Hong Kong

The British Council Hong Kong

All kindergarten and primary students need to show proof of their class at school.

For pre-school and K1 students are required to show their birth certificate as proof of age.

Kindergarten 1 – Primary 2 students are placed into a class according to their school class.

Students who would like to enrol our Cambridge Exam Preparation courses (K3-P2), Middle Primary(P3-P4), Upper Primary(P5-P6), Junior Secondary(S1-S2), Senior Secondary(S3-S4) and DSE Foundation/Exam preparation(S5-S6) courses have to take a placement test in order to place them in a class according to both their ability and age.

The placement test takes around 60 minutes to complete. We will then use the test results to help students find an appropriate class.
