Take a drive out to Hatta, hundreds of rugs of all different sizes and qualities.

If you're wanting Persian style etc, IMO the Blue Souk in Sharjah is the best place of all. (Don't ask me for directions though!)

Obviously depends on what you are looking for... but most of the home furniture places have a small stock of rugs. We saw some nice ones in Crate & Barrel (Mirdif City Centre / Mall of the Emirates) recently - some in Marina, The One and all the other home places you'll find in all the shopping centres - and Rugland of course... plus all the Arabic/Persian style ones available too... You should find a decent mix in any one shopping centre. Good luck!
