seriously? wow, that is pretty cool! i have to say that although it is against my basic principle, some american cities are my favorite, boston and san fran being a couple. those who havent tried it should give calgary a chance and parts of the caribbean are amazing! i am not sure of the "city" names but st vincent and bequia are some of the most beautiful, that is where the first of the "pirates" movies were filmed. have always wanted to check out belgium though.

I'm quite shocked by that Dentro, you mean that in all the cities in the world you have visited you think Dubai takes top place?
I would agree with Dentro, Dubai is a lovely place, and when we have to leave I will have some long lasting memories and will always look back with a smile. Hope we dont have to leave but one day we will for sure, it wont be our decision thou, it will be work related.

...... on top of Rome and Cape Town, I would also add Barcelona - awesome city wth great architecture and attitude. Cape Town for the landscape and scenery which is special for a city rather than a town, and Roma is my all time favourite fabulous city with history and gelato on every corner

ooof, so many! Istanbul for SURE! LOVE IT. Would move there in a heartbeat. Love Beirut too. Paris is gorgeous but I wouldn't want to live there. London is so, well... London. Can't not love it IMHO. Cairo, for all it's faults, is marvelous. Or, at least, parts of it are depending on the time of year!! Wouldn't want to live there but there's definitely something about it that I love. I lived in HK for a year. That was 6 years ago and I STILL miss it. Can't put my finger on what it was but the place got under my skin. And I do love Abu Dhabi. But I love the Abu Dhabi of 20 years ago, that lives on in my head. Funny, I just can't feel that passionate about North American cities or even most Western European ones. Feel the same way about Oz. Really like many cities in those regions and countries but just can't feel that I LOVE them. That said, I could see myself living in Melbourne. Very "livable" to me.

Can you just move and live permanently in any city that you love, wish I could do that.
